Luceros is the son of the all-time record auction selling ($400,000) Dom Lucillio.
Luceros fleece is a rich dark reddish-fawn color that is extremely dense--so dense that
very little vegetable matter invades into the fiber. This density
extends well under his belly and up his neck and legs. Luceros 2005 clip weight at 4 years
of age was 8.8 lbs.
 Luceros' fiber
has a soft handle and very
nice crimp. Luceros has a very sweet disposition and is very tolerant and well-mannered
with people. He is also easy to handle and a dream to show. As a herdsire, he is gentle, but persistent
and gets the job done. To date, he has produced crias whose colors are true black, white, fawn, and brown. Luceros is everything that I could have hoped for and
a wonderful ambassador to showcase alpacas to the public.
